Playaways - New @ Your Library!

Playaway Check out the latest in audiobook technology. Playaways are small, lightweight audiobook players that come preloaded with an entire book.

No Cassettes. No CDs. No Downloads. Just Play.

Playaways are convenient and easy to use without having to juggle multiple CDs, cassettes or a separate player. It also allows the listener to control the speed of the narrator's voice and automatically bookmarks the last place they left off after powering down.

Perfect for walking, jogging or the gym! Playaways don't skip or scratch like CDs.

Playaways come equipped with a universal headphone jack and can be used in the car just like an iPod or MP3 player. Simply plug the unit into the auxiliary port, FM transmitter or cassette adapter and you are ready to listen.

They require a AAA battery and a set of headphones. As a special promotion and while supplies last, the first patrons to check out a Playaway will receive a FREE battery and set of earbuds!

Our collection is growing, so keep an eye out for new titles coming soon. If you have any questions or would like to see how a Playaway works, please see a reference librarian.

We hope you enjoy this new collection and check one out soon!
